#1. (미팅을 생산적으로 만들기 위해) 어떻게 해야 하는지 방법을 알아 내다. To crack the code. (제프 베조스가 알아낸) 그 방법은 ~으로 요약된다.

Inc.는 누구나 겪었을 생산성 낮은 회의(Bad meeting)에 대해 아마존 CEO 제프 베조스가 답을 찾았을 수 있다며, 그 비결은 3가지 원칙으로 요약 된다고 이야기 합니다.

*crack the code - 암호를 풀다. to figure out how to do something (often something difficult/tricky)

** come down to something - something으로 요약되다.

Erik 마스터는 아래 문장 패턴이 상당히 유용 하다고 조언 해주었습니다. 매일 쓰이는 건 아니지만, 이런 식의 표현을 알아 두면 도움이 될거라고 설명해주었습니다.

의미는 어렵지 않습니다. 다만 어떤 타이밍에서 사용해야 하는지는 좀 파악해야할 필요가 있겠습니다. 아래 문장에서 실제 어떻게 사용되었는지 확인해보세요.

“We try to create teams that are no larger that can be fed by two pizzas", Bezos said. "We call that the two-pizza team rule.” If you’ve ever been in a meeting with too many people, you can understand the wisdom in this. The larger the team, the greater the number of opinions, and the more difficult it becomes to reach conclusions and make decisions.

#3. '자세하게 설명하다'/ '열거하다'는 Detail

Detail을 '명사'로만 알고 계신 분들 많으시죠? 이렇게 예문 처럼 '타동사'로서 '상세하게 설명 하다'로 사용됩니다. 문장이 상당히 간결해지겠죠?
